Sunday Services at the UCG are held at 10:30am and children’s programs are provided.

September 5, 2010 - Welcome (back) to the UCG! - Katie Gad and Dave Beaton

The welcome service will be a chance to get to know the Unitarian Congregation of Guelph through a brief (re)introduction to Unitarian Principles and how the congregation works. We will play some get-to-know you games and learn or refresh some favourite UCG songs to warm up our voices for the year. New members are welcomed with open arms and former members are encouraged to come to see old friends and welcome new ones. Children are welcome to attend this service and participate with the adults or play at the park with supervision. 

Septmber 12 – The Water Service - Joan Rentoul and Nancy Schmidt
A gathering to celebrate the opening of the congregational year. In the Water Service we celebrate the return to community after a summer’s pause. Please bring a small container of water collected from a special place during your summer travels or closer to home. You may want to gather water from a visit to the house of grandparents, grandchildren, from a stream or summer cottage. Even water from the garden hose or kitchen sink may provide memories that you want to recall. This water will be collected into a common vessel to help us celebrate our sources of connection.
