We begin with a guided sitting meditation, walking meditation and silent meditation.  We will then share a teaching from Nhat Hanh and listen deeply to one another as we share what is on our hearts.  This is a community practice that strengthens not only our formal meditation practice but also our ability to live in awareness and joy day by day.  For more information contact Lisa Lindsay 519-766-0910

Supporting Your Goals with EFT: The UCG Borrowing Benefits Group

Sundays, Jan 8-29, 12 Noon - 1 pm at UCG

The start of a new year is often an incentive to evaluate where we are in our progress toward previously-set goals and a time to set new goals for the coming year.  Why not start 2012 with a new tool in your toolbox that can support you in achieving these goals?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called 'acupuncture without the needles', is a simple technique of tapping on specific energy meridian points to clear disruptions in the body's energy system.   These disruptions show up in our lives as negative emotions, physical discomfort, and often the self-defeating patterns we know as 'self-sabotage'.  If you have experienced any of these challenges, relief may be at your fingertips!
'Borrowing Benefits' is a remarkable feature of EFT when used in a group setting.  As one group member receives individual EFT Coaching, other group members tap along to restore balance and harmony to their own energy systems and, most often, they experience significant relief around their own personal issue!
For more information about EFT or Borrowing Benefits, please contact Elaine Bradshaw at
519-767-5682.  Elaine is a Certified Life Coach, a Certified EFT Practitioner and a Level 3 Therapeutic Touch Practitioner.
